This was a fun music video where we took inspiration from the film Basic Instinct. It was fun to recreate the lighting of the famous interrogation scene. We shot this on BMPCC 6k Pros and Clavius lenses from Richard Gale Optics. These are rare lenses re-built from vintage Russian lenses with the ability to put aperture disks in the rear element for unique effects. With this one we used the more conventional 2x squeeze aperture disks, which recreate the bokeh of anamorphic lenses (though not the same flares unfortunately). Directed by Paul Butcher.
